there is a light line across the horizon of this scene. a hint and a flash of light glowing lightly where the white caps meet the mist. a definitive break between the in focus foreground and the hint of land you being to see in the distance. the different pale palette and that line of light. they drew me in.

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
