this is a really quiet place. the fog surrounded this whole area, quieting the sounds of the birds and waterways. it’s a peaceful spot, a place you’d expect people to whisper if they even talked at all here.

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
