exploring a national park and coming across this in the middle of the road was very memorable. I like the way the road waves up and down and the trees are a bit faded in the mist. but it’s the strong outline and presence in the photo, just as it was in person, that makes an impression.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
