as the light changed here, the nurse tree seemed to darken at the bottom of the frame and as your eye is drawn up to the light the new growth seems to be reaching towards it. a fascinating partnership.

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
