this was on my way to a find a very specific shot for an interior designer’s project. I was driving in a black and white movie, the trees were dark outlines lining both sides of the road. but I pulled over just as the light began to change, one of my favourite things to watch, the colours and the light changing the feel of things.

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
