This was the starting point for my work. This view and wanting a way to bring it home with me.
My finished pieces are views that you can step into, like an open window. The focus is to bring the outdoors inside.
The limited edition archival prints are mounted onto wood cradles and finished with a process that creates a painting like depth and texture. This draws in the viewer from any angle.

my process
I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
