The local mountains are well known for their foggy, misty, views. The mist seems to hang in and around the trees, highlighting them. This was the starting point for my work, this view and wanting to bring it home with me.Â

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
