a favourite thing on my way to a shoot is to pay attention to what I’m passing on my way there. often I’m heading out when the light and the weather are interesting, so that means there are opportunities out there, I just have to be open to seeing them. Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
