drifted 24″ x 18″

Drifted is a 24″ x 18″ piece.  It has been created with the same technique as my large scale limited edition pieces. 

I’m working on an entire driftwood series but I still have several shoots to go before I finish it. This was a test piece to confirm that the close up photograph of driftwood, with the finishes I use, creates enough depth. 

With a close up it’s hard to maintain that depth. Wanting to show forms, shapes, colours and most importantly, depth. I think it’s there and there’s a story in the form.
