I used to spend a lot of time practicing shooting at this beach. The low tide creates such interesting shots that disappear into the horizon. But from this angle, the driftwood really seems endless. The sun bleached wood mixing with the sand, a shared palette.

I was raised in a family of woodworkers, where I learned how to work with wood and refinish furniture.
Which influenced my choice to hand mount archival prints onto wood. this technique creates a painting like depth and texture while maintaining the rawness of the outdoors.
